Sing

The puppet is the instrument, the puppeteer the singer. And through the puppet, the words, the actions, interactions, scenery, tables and chairs, are all tuned, all of a common rhythm - They are all there to be sung.  Like a rooster to a meadowlark to the sky -sung. For the real puppet play is a duet between performers.  This is all you will ever need to know about puppetry. It is a thing  you cannot possibly understand until you and your stage mates experience it.
