The Script Is All

Neither the puppets nor the puppeteers; neither the staging, the lights or the ten-piece band can save the play.  These elements, no matter how professional and brilliant they may be, are only servants to the script.  No amount of starry light and nuance that can save a poor script.  Puppeteers should be advised.  Take all those gilded tools back down to the basement until the time comes when a worthy script comes to hand.
